Dryer Vents

Dryer Vents are one of the most overlooked maintainance items in the home today. Not only do they get blocked with lint and become a serious fire hazard, but they also cause the dryer to have to run much longer, raising the utility bill and wasting much precious time.

Have your dryer vent checked and increase your family's safety in the home. You will also lengthen the life of the dryer itself. Heating elements often burn out due to partially blocked dryer vents.

The first photo shows a vent with an incorrect type of pipe.

The result was that there was insufficient space for enough venting.

On the left we see a vent pipe with enough lint build up to reduce air flow and therefore extending drying time which costs more money.

Here we see a vent cover with clear indication that there are lint deposits to be swept.

This last photo showsa poor vent termination that allows lint and moist air back into the attic.
