Two Types of Chimneys

Yes, there are more.

This house has a masonry chimney. (Built of bricks with a terra cotta liner.) Notice that it has a rain cap on top.

This is also a masonry chimney, but it has no rain cap on top.

And here is a third masonry chimney, once again with no rain cap on top.

This house has a Zero Clearance fireplace, also referred to as a factory manufactured fireplace.
